I am looking for any information on John WILSON who married Susanna CRAIG in Augusta County in September, 1816. Susanna was the daughter of Robert and Susanna CRAIG. Robert Craig died in Augusta County in 1806. I believe John and Susanna Craig Wilson moved to North Carolina and appear in the Yancey County, NC census for 1850. John Wilson in the 1850 North Carolina census shows that he was 60 years old and Susanna was 54. They had at least four children: Samuel, Mitchell Alexander, Dorcas and Sarah. I have always suspected a link with a Mitchell or Alexander family because of their son's name. Any help on this family would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Stuart R. Wilson.
