STIRPES, journal of the Texas State Genealogical Society, Inc., is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. The editorial board solicits articles and materials such as letters, diaries, photographs, and book reviews relating to Texas genealogy and history. STIRPES has no quotas with respect to authorship or content. Edited works may be submitted to the author for review at the end of the editing process prior to publication. The author retains copyright to his work. The Texas State Genealogical Society retains the right to print this material exclusively for one year dating from its first printing in STIRPES. The writer may use and distribute his material for presentations, lectures, seminars, or for similar purposes.

  • Texas First Families  Volume 1
lineages for numbers 1 through 2400, was published in October, 2000.  TSGS would like to thank all of those who have participated and supported this project.  Special commendation is given to Rose Griffin Covert, Beverly Wyatt, Ann Rickard, Foy Howell, Jane Debenport, Janice Ratliff, Nelda Galyean Baker, and Terri Pearce, who have assisted with the typing and proofreading of the material for this volume.

  lineages for numbers 2401 through 5278, was published in December, 2004.  TSGS would like to thank Doris Cozart for her determination and the many long hours in preparing this book for publication.  We also appreciate all of the other members who have helped in this effort.
