The entries of this book started in 1883 and the latest date that I found was 1885.  The border on the left of this page is a scanned image of the front cover of Clemmie's friendship book sent to me by Hannah Wolbrueck, Clemmie's great - granddaughter.

Sarah Clementine Davis was born in Hamilton Co., IN in 1870 to John Hill Davis (b. 1843 SC; d. 1886) and Mary E. Jessup (b. 1846 IN; d. 1915 TX).  In 1889 Clemmie married Robert Lee Burnes (b. 1865 SC) son of William James Burnes (b. SC) and Florida Merlett (b. SC).

Clemmie died in 1949 and Robert died in 1917
