Know all men by these presents that I, Ezekiel McGill fo South Carolina,
Pickens District in consideration of Two Hundred and Ninety Dollars
to me
paid by Christian Fricks of the Same State and Anderson District Have
Bargained Sold and released unto the Said Frix all that tract or parcel
of
land where I formerly lived Situate in Anderson District lying east
and west
of little Generostee Creek waters of Savannah River joining land of
Moddy
Gentry, Samuel Yeargin, James Buncs, Charles Brown, containing 100
31 1/2
acres more or less course and distance appointed by the plat together
with
all...in Witness whereof herewith Set my hand and Seal this 16th of
March
1843.

certify unto all whom it may concern that this day Frances McGill the
wife of
the within named Ezekiel McGill did appear before me and upon being
by me
privately and seperately examined did declare that She does fully Voluntarily
and without any compulsion dread or fear of any person or persons whomsoever
renounce release and forever relinquish unto the within named Christian
Frix
his heirs and assigns all her interest and estate and also all her
right and
claim of Dower of in or to all and Singular the premises within mentioned
and
released given under my hand and seal this 12th day of March in the
year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five.
