The Coggeshalls in America: Genealogy of the Descendants of John Coggeshall of Newport with a Brief Notice of Their English Antecedents; complied by Charles Pierce Coggeshall and Thellwell Russell Coggeshall, published by C.E. Goodspeed and Company, Boston, Massachusetts; 1930. This book goes down to the eighth generation, but does not carry down the female lines of descent. There is also a chapter on descendants of John Coggeshall and Amy Dwelly, as well as a section with "unclassified" members. Coggeshall Lookup
Elder John Crandall of Rhode Island and His Descendants, by John Cortland Crandall; New Woodstock, New York, 1949. This is a 797 page volume that is still used by the Crandall Family Association to verify lineages. It has some errors, but it is a very extensive work. Like others, it does not carry out the female lines to any major extent. There is information on the Crandall ancestry that has never been proven, but the CFA is actively trying to pursue Elder John Crandall's roots in England and /or Wales. By The Name of Dyer, A Genealogical Record, by William Allan Dyer, Syracuse, NY, 1940. This is a very complete and reasonably reliable source for information about the progeny of William and Mary Dyer, early settlers in the Massachusetts Bay Colony (Boston, @1634/35). It includes a six page introduction regarding Dyers in America, over 260 pages of lineage for the first six generations of the William and Mary Dyer family in Rhode Island, and a 33 page index of names, both Dyer and related names. The Hazard Family of Rhode Island 1635-1894; Being a Genealogy of the Descendants of Thomas Hazard, with Sketches of the Worthies of this Family, and Anecdotes Illustrative of their Traits and also of the Times in which they Lived; Caroline E. Robinson, Boston, printed for the author, 1895. This carries the family down to the tenth generation, but the best info is in the earlier generations with the later ones being limited in their info. This book does not deal exclusively with male lines of descent. Anyone with Potters may find some info worthwhile in the book. This book has information on several lines of the Potter families, including Nathaniel Potter and Robert Potter of Rhode Island, Anthony Potter of Ipswich, and various other Potter families. Two searchable databases can be used; one of all the Lamberts, and the other is the "Lambert dit Robillard." database. This last refers to Robillard because a Robillard changed his name to Lambert. Lambert is also common as a first name in France. There is also extensive information on the ancestors of Eustache Lambert, Aubin Lambert dit Champagne, and Pierre Lambert.
Areas covered are all in Canada, the Province of Québec: Beause, Québec, Trois-Riviere, Louiseville, St-Cutbert, St-Didace, and St-Charles Mandeville.

Isaiah Green and Elizabeth Tefft of Charlestown, Rhode Island and Stonington, Connecticut, with Eight Generations of Their Descendants, by Judith (Green) Watson. Isaiah Green (1771-1841) was the son of Joshua Green of Charlestown, RI; Elizabeth Tefft (1774-1854) was the daughter of George5 (James4, John3, Samuel2, John1) Tefft of South Kingstown, RI. Their children married into early RI and CT families of Clark(e), Perry, Denison, Miner, and Noyes. The book includes detailed information about 979 of their descendants, female as well as male lines. It follows a modified Register format. There are 98 photos (the earliest is from 1849), over 120 newspaper articles, information about military service, tombstone inscriptions, and even a wedding invitation or two!
