  Help

We provide genealogy and history records and essential tools for effective genealogical research in Washington County, Oregon.

This is a community effort and all are encouraged to participate.

Here is what  we are currently building:

1. We need more cemetery transcription volunteers.

2. We want to build a database of all census records for Washington County from 1840 up to 1940. We will need lots of help here.

3. We want to add land records, family group sheets and other useful genealogical records.

If you want to help in other ways with this project, please contact webmaster at the send mail logo below. Please feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions on how to improve this website.

Thank you for your participation in our group effort.

Don Kelly, Washington County, OR

Washington County was one of the first of 4 original counties establish by the legislature, and the first to be extensively farmed in the Tualatin Valley. One of the oldest towns is Forest Grove which contains Pacific University, the first university established in Oregon.
