TORONTO - Mrs. Bessie May Vandruff, 52, of 1500 Madison Ave., died unexpectedly at 3 a.m. today in the home of her brother, Thomas Willie (Ed. note: Willey), at Three Rivers, Mich., where she had gone for a visit. She suffered a heart attack.
Mrs. Vandruff was the wife of Perry Vandruff and had been a resident of the Toronto vicinity for 34 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ on River Avenue.
A native of Big Run, W. Va., she was born Feb. 14, 1902, a daughter of the late James and Susan Willie.
She is survived by her husband at home; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Smith of Toronto and Mrs. Betty Turner of Steubenville; two sons, George Vandruff stationed with the U. S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, N. C., and James Vandruff of Toronto; three brothers, Thomas of Three Rivers, Bruce Willie of Strolls, Pa., and Byrle Willie of Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Flossie Miller of Cleveland, and Mrs. Opal Stoneking, Mrs. Florence Rice and Mrs. Lennie Shreves of West Virginia, and four grandchildren.
The body will be returned to the Clarke Funeral Home at Toronto. Arrangements are incomplete.

TORONTO - Perry T. Vandruff, 68, of 1500 Madison Ave. died Monday at 10 p.m. in Ohio Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 2, 1892, in Piney, W. Va., a son of the late William and Hannor Vandruff.
He was a retired employee of the Anco Glass Co., which is no longer in operation.
He was a veteran of World War I.
He was a member of the Baptist Church. He also was a member of the American Legion of Toronto.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Betty Turner of Toronto and Mrs. Beverly Smith of Steubenville; two sons, James Vandruff and George Vandruff, both of Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Berle Yost of Wellsburg and Mrs. George Black of Michigan; two brothers, Kelly Vandruff of Wellsburg and Albert Vandruff of Smithfield, and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Vandruff, in 1954. He also was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, and one sister.

Friends may call at the Clarke Funeral Home in Toronto after 7 tonight. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Charles Dailey, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Toronto, will officiate. Burial will be in Toronto Union Cemetery.
