Introduction to Genealogy


During this six-week session learn how to research your ancestors. You will learn how to use pedigree charts and family group sheets. How to find your ancestors in Federal and State census schedules, how to search vital, church, and cemetery records. A field trip to a local depository is planned.



Instructor:  Sheila Byrnes writes the Genealogy Column for the Post Stand STARS Magazine. Byrnes is a Board Member of Central New York Genealogical Society and several other genealogy societies and has written articles for New England Ancestors.
