 Lorene Hale Warren Jones

Aberdeen

Lorene Hale Warren Jones, 80, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

She was born September 2, 1927, in Decatur Co., TN to Oble F. and Gracie Tuten Hale. She had lived in Aberdeen since 1946. She was the former owner of the Aberdeen Shoe Center and a member of First Baptist Church, Aberdeen, MS.  She enjoyed putting puzzles together, raising flowers and plants, and having her family around her.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen  with the Rev. Jobe Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar W. Jones of Aberdeen, two sons, Ronnie Warren (Connie) of Aberdeen , Rhea Warren (Joan) of Tupelo; two sisters, Mary Ilene White of Tupelo and Marie (Bill) Jacobs of Lexington, KY; one brother, Floyd Hale (Callie) of Tupelo, four sister-in-laws, Joyce Murrah of Columbus, Jean Perry of Jackson, TN, Barbara Ball and Elizabeth (Dennis) Rust of Estell Springs, TN ; three grandchildren and six great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, O.N. Warren, a sister Golden Tutor, brothers, Charles, Lloyd, and Paul Nathaniel Hale.

Pallbearers will be Grover Jackson, Dennis Moon, Ryan Lacey, Tommy Kirpatrick and David Warren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hal Bourland, Ernest Lowrimore, Gene Williams, Danny Morris and Joel Anderson.

Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
