Pat Sanderson AMORY - Margaret Lewis "Pat" Sanderson, 76, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at her daughter's residence in Collierville, Tenn., after an extended illness. She was born May 11, 1932, in Guin, Ala., to Claude C. and Lydia Guin Lewis. She lived in Kenosha, Tupelo, Clarksdale and Amory, and in Collierville for the past year. She married Robert Phelan Sanderson Sr. in 1950; he died in 1983. She had been employed by Beverly Healthcare for 17 years as a senior CNA supervisor. She was Baptist. She enjoyed yard work. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Chuck Herring officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Amory. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Sanderson Herring (Chuck) of Collierville, Tenn.; one sister, Martha Jean Lewis Morgan of Amory; five grandchildren, Heather Shivers, Zac Herring, Rob Sanderson, Angel Sanderson Lewis and Phillip Sanderson; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert P. Sanderson Jr.; one brother, Tom Lewis; and one sister, Olva Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Hill, Nick Weaver, Kelly Faulkner, Jeff Morgan, Larry Shelton and Ronnie Bowen. Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
