- DAVIS, FORREST, GARRETT posted by Kevin Wayne Quincy
Daniel on Saturday, November 8, 1997
- Researching the descendants of Griffith and Eleanor FORREST DAVIS. This couple and their
descendants lived in the Prince George, Frederick and later Montgomery Counties when these
counties were created. They had: Lodowick, Charles, Griffith, John Forrest and Thomas
DAVIS. These names ran in the family for several generations. A descendant, Jeremiah
DAVIS, and his wife Susannah GARRETT, left Montgomery County and went to Kentucky with his
uncle Thomas Davis, settling in Bourbon, Clark and Montgomery Counties, there. Would like
to contact others researching any of these lines.

- Seeking 1987 obituary My ggreatuncle's daughter Kathryn V. Scanlon died in Silverspring
Maryland Feb 20, 1987. She was living on Olympic St Wheaton MD at the time of her death. I
believe this is in Montgomery County. I have been trying to find the descendants of this
ggreatuncle for some time. I'm hoping an obituary will shed some light on the subject.
Does anyone have access to a newspaper who can check for an obit. I know her body was
transferred to Mass for burial and I checked the Mass papers but came up empty.

- I am trying to find info on John Mollohon(Mollohone,Mollahorn) 1717-1790, he is listed
in the Abstracts of the Administration Accounts of the Prerogitive Court of
MAryland(1718-1724) and the 1790 Maryland Census for Charles Co. Maryland and James
Mollohorn b.1720 and listed in the Montgomery Co. 1790 census. Absolutely anything would
be helpful! I am trying to discover if James is John's son. They were Catholic and have a
lot of records in at St. Framces Xavier Church. I just don't have access to Maryland
records. Thanks for your consideration! Laurie Schmidt
