} Be it remembered that on the twelfth day of July in
the year of our God
Caroline County to wit:
} one thousand eight hundred and fifty three came Benjamin Kirby
of Talbot County and brought a Power of Attorney with two endorsements
thereon and prayed to have the same enrolled among the records of Caroline
County and on the same day and year aforesaid the same Power of Attorney
and endorsements were enrolled as follows to wit:
Know all men by these presents
that we
Frisby W Yoe who is a son of Rachel Yoe deceased
and Mary Yoe his wife of the County of Talbot of the State of Maryland
our attorney for us and in our names to bargain all and convey in fee simple
by deed of general warranty for such price upon such terms of credit and
to such person or persons as he shall think fit the whole or any part of
the real estate which has descended to us from John Prouse Senior
deceased which real estate lies in the County of Caroline in the state
of Maryland being the farm on which said John Prouse deceased last
dwell. We also constitute and appoint the said Benjamin Kirby
our attorney for us and in our names and for our use to collect by suit
or otherwise and upon payment to him to receipt for [by abuse] under real
or otherwise all debts and demands whatsoever due and owing to us in the
State of Maryland and especially all due which we are interested in connection
with the estate of John Prouse deceased late of Caroline County
in the State of Maryland whatsoever our true attorney shall lawfully due
in the premises we do hereby confirm all bargains receipts for purchase
money agreements and deed as shall be made execution or acknowledge in
the premises by our said attorney the same as if we were personally present
and did the same in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
seal this 30th day of April AD 1853

Be it remembered that on
the 30th day of April 1853 Frisby W Yoe and Mary Yoe his
wife came before the said subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for
said County and acknowledge that they executed this the above power of
attorney freely and the said
Mary Yoe being at the same time examined
by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said
instrument made known to her by me she then individually declared that
she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same that she is still
satisfied there with 30th day of April AD 1853.
