Last Will and Testament of WILLIAM MEAD of Baltimore county
dated 17 Apr 1792, proved 10 Oct 1793

April the 17th 1792, In the Name of God Amen, I William Mead of Baltimore County and state of Maryland, being weak in body, but of sound memory, God be praised for the same, but calling to mind that it is Appointed for all to dye have Constituted and opinted this my last will and testament as follows, Firs I reccommend my Sole to God that gave it. Secondly, my Body to be buried in Cristan manner and Thirdly, I give and bequeath any Worldly goods as follows:

Item I give and bequeath to my Kind and Honoured mother, Martha Mead, all my Tract of Land called Francises Chowes during her life and after her decease, I give and bequeath the said Tract of Land to my Two Breithern John Mead and Benjamin Mead, as follows:

I Give and Bequeath to my Brother John Mead the one half of any Tract of land call'd Franceses Chawes lying at the South land of said Land to be divided with an East and that bin across the said Land paralel to Him his heirs and assigns for ever,

Item, I give and bequeath to my brother Benjamin Mead the other halaf of any tract of Land called Frances Chawes at the north end of which land to him his heirs and assigns for ever.

Item, All the remainder of any estate I give and Bequeath to my two sisters, Elizabeth Mead & Mary Mead to be divided equally between them.
