Last Will & Testament of Isabella Bone
dated December 1, 1868;
proven October 19, 1874


In the name of God Amen. I Isabella Bone of Baltimore City in the state of Maryland being in perfect health of body and of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and…be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me do therefore make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say: First, and principally I commit my soul unto the hands of Almighty God and My body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I desire and bequeath as follows:

I give, devise and bequeath unto my three daughters Elizabeth Durham, Ann Durham, and Mary Jane Simms for their sole and separate use free from all liability or control of their husbands and to my sons William Bone and Fletcher Bone their heirs and assigns ten acres of my farm with the improvements thereon erected in Baltimore County known as Cubb Hill be equally divided among them share and share alike the said land being part of sixteen acres of land left me by my husband Fletcher Bone and being the balance left after I had deeded six acres to my other daughter Agnes Rebecca Langley which six acres were conveyed to her in full of her share of my estate and also in full payment of all claims she or her husband had or might have against me for board or any other necessities.

And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my daughter Ann Durham Executrix of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Testimony Whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this first day of December in the year eighteen hundred and sixty eight.
