STERRINGER/STIERINGER/SMITH I am looking for information on Elizabeth Stiering er who married John Smith in 1838 in Baltimore. I believe this to be my great-great-great grandmother. Also information on a Mr. Sterringer who died in Baltimore in 1836. I believe this to be my great-great-great grandfather. WOLLET (WOLLETT), born 10/10/1865 in Midway, Logan County, Ohio, died 7/4/1944 in Baltimore, MD, buried in York, PA. He was married to Anna L. FROST I am looking for any information on a William J. Frost and John Frost. think that one or both lived in Ellicott City and were in the Civil War. They should have lived in Anne Arundel county. 1860 is a date that my father gave me, and John Frost was a prisoner of war. He survived and went to some hospital for recovery. BOKEE, COOK, HAMILL, HUBBARD, HUNT, THURSTON, WOODS Researching ALEXANDER and OLIVIA COOK HAMILL, natives of Ireland who were in Baltimore, MD by 1824. They were members of Aisquith and Second Presbyterian Churches in Baltimore. ALEXANDER was granted a license to run an ordinary in 1829 and later operated flour mills, coal oil shops, and a Queensware business. He died 1878. OLIVIA died 1855 and was first buried at Hampton Mills in Baltimore County. ALEXANDER may of married second MARY E. BOKEE. Children of ALEXANDER and OLIVIA COOK HAMILL: WILLIAM JOHN born 1828 married 1) SYLVIA HUNT of Canonsburg, Washington Co., PA. 5 children. About 1864 he left the country with her sister, ISABELLA. 16 more children. SYLVIA continued to run the oil companies, articles have been written on her endurance in hard times. ALEXANDER T. born 1830 married ELIZABETH A. HUBBARD, daughter of JOHN and EMELINE CURTIS HUBBARD. {Children: CHARLES, HOWARD, WALTER, ALICE, LENA, MARY, DAISYE BELL and KATE who married MELVIN THURSTON of Mathews Co.
