Descendants of Capt. John WORTHINGTON

This genealogy of the Worthington family is largely taken from "The Founders of Anne Arundel and Howard Counties, Maryland" by J. D. Warfield. There is also a genealogy of the Worthington family in the first edition of Anne Arundel Gentry by Harry C. Newman. This file replaces some links to family histories that are no longer available on the internet. There are pieces of the Worthington family (mostly in Baltimore County) that are not followed through, since a quick search did not provide the links within this family. Although there were Worthingtons who were Quakers in the north eastern part of Baltimore Co in the mid to late 1700s.
