about 1690 in A. A. Co., MD.
He came to Md. ca. 1656 with John Burrage and
Gerard Hopkins.
The will of Luke Gregory of Anne Arundel Co., dated 11 April
1694 and proved 16 April 1694, left personality to: Elizabeth Porter, Anthony
Drean, Sarah, Martha, Rachel, Deborah and Mary James, Elizabeth wife of John
WILSON, and James Loyloe. John WILSON Sr. was named executor and residuary legatee
of the estate. {note: Sarah, Martha, Deborah, Rachel, and Mary James were the daughters
of Richard and Eleanor James of Herring Creek Hundred in Anne Arundel Co. Richard
James died in 1687.).
A John Wilson witnessed the will of Thomas Segwick of
Calvert Co., on 11 Jan 1698. John Wilson also witnessed the will of James Cranford
of Calvert Co. 4 May 1696.
According to a deed dated 19 May 1666, John WILSON had been one of five earlier
purchasers of one acre lots that were surveyed for the town of Herrin Creek.
In 1665 John Burridge sold 100 acres of the tract BURRIDGE to John
WILSON.
