He was married to Sarah HART (daughter of Steven HART and Catharine) before 1709 in Baltimore Co., MD. Richard OWINGS/OWENS and Sarah HART had the following children:

+13 ii. Ruth OWENS\ OWINGS.
+14 iii. Stephen Hart OWINGS.
15 iv. Catrharine OWINGS was born about 1717.
16 v. John OWINGS was born about 1719. He died about 1779.
