The Star Theater pictured above remained in the same location, until a fire destroyed many of the buildings on the west side of Main Street. You can locate the theater between the second & third telephone poles in the picture below. It is the tall dark building with the light projection from the second floor. The pair of taller buildings can be seen in both of the 1905 photos above. The theater is located in the more distant of the pair. For a period of time after 1919, Floyd Linninger ran the Star Theater.
