W. Glynn OWEN of Allegany County, MD. He died in July of 1978. I do not have the exact date. Am looking for an obit as well as the exact day. Probably was living with a relative, since he lived in Minneapolis most of his life. His wife, Vera S. ALLEN, died in Mpls, who was a daughter to Gustaf ALLEN, brother to my g- grandmother.

William O'CONNELL, b. 1856 in Maryland
Thomas Francis O'CONNELL, b. 1858 in Maryland
George O'CONNELL, b. 1862 in Maryland
Thomas Francis O'CONNELL married Margaret Loretto MARTIN, 1864-1931, daughter of Patrick & Ellen MARTIN of Pekin.

I'm searching for information on the MONAHAN/GRIMES family of Pekin and/or Frostburg. Patrick MONAHAN and Bridget MONAHAN of Galway, Ireland (both born c. 1805 had several children: Peter, Owen, John, Michael Patrick, Bridget Anne. All emigrated to US by 1873 settling in Allegany County, MD area.

My GrGrgrandfather Michael Patrick and Elizabeth GREEN married and had several children in Allegany County: Patrick, Thomas Francis, John, Agnes, Bedelia, Michael, Marixa and Loretta. My Grgrandfather Thomas F. MONAHAN married Magdalene M. GRIMES in Forstburg area, and had severl children: Leo Joseph, Francis, Thomas, Anthony, Catherine, Margaret ("Peggy"), all born in Frostburg/Pekin, then moved to Wheeling, WV. Any info on GRIMES/MONAHAN would be appreciated.

Anybody who knows any information on Cora A BRANT, of Cumberland, MD. 1944 Cora was living in Cumberland and gave birth to a daughter. Cora had a brother Robert BRANT, and a sister-in-law Mary. Robert and Mary lived on Penn Ave, they also had a daughter Jane May BRANT. 1954 CORA was living in Dickinson, MD and used the name Cora KESELL. Joyce and Penny Dixon also may have information on Cora. Grandparent (grand-mother) may have lived in Ridgely WV. She worked cleaning the fire hall, the last time I saw her she had fallen and injured her hip or leg. If anyone has any information about any of these people please contact me. Thank you La.Vonne
