Looking for information on Robert S. MORELAND, born 1884 and brother, Adam W. MORELAND, born 1887 to John T. and Sarah Ellen MORELAND. Robert and Adam, along with their mother and other siblings, were living in Oldtown, Allegany Co. with John T. TWIGG in the 1900 census. Their mother was living in Morgan Co., WV in the 1910 census and stated that she had 4 children, but only two were alive. The two living were May MORELAND who married Edgar HAUGH and William MORELAND who married Esta MCCOOL. Therefore Robert and Adam died between 1900 and 1910. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated!

Two brothers came to Allegany County from Ayrshire, Scotland. Peter SMITH and Thomas SMITH. Peter SMITH married Jane SCOTT in 1869 and he died in 1912. He was a coal miner. Thomas SMITH married Elizabeth ? Looking for any descendants with whom I can share the Scottish side of the family. Peter and Thomas had a sister Jane and she was my great-great- grandmother.
