Anna Elisabeth TRESCHER married Carl/Charles WEINBERG in 1854 possibly in Frostburg, MD. Anna was from Dorheim, Hesse/Kassel, Germany and Carl/Charles from Maalk, Mecklenburg/Schwerin. They had one son, John Frederick, before moving to St. John, Illinois in 1858/1859.

Seeking information on Richard MORRIS/MAURICE who was in Town Creek, Allegany Co., MD by 1759. He owned land there and may have married there. He went on to Washington Co. and to Monongalia, returning to Town Creek to sell land by 1779, and then to Bourbon Co., KY. His brother John MORRIS/MAURICE, his family, and several other families including the ROBINETTS and SPURGEONS moved with him. Richard's children: Morris, Rachel, Catherine, Mary, Richard, Thomas. John's wife: Hannah DOWNING, then Eleanor Unknown. Children: Richard, James, John, Joseph, Elizabeth, Eleanor.

My GGGG Grandfather, [Johann]George SCHUCH [SHUCK] was one of the first German settlers in Cumberland in the 1790s. Does anyone have a SHUCK from Cumberland in their family tree? Particularly from the early 1800s. Some other names that may help are: Maria L. Looking for ancestors, descendants and relatives of Wendeel STRUCKMAN of Cumberland, Maryland. Want to know if this person is connected to Matilda STRUCKMAN and William L. STRUCKMAN of Baltiimore, Maryland and other STRUCKMAN'S in various places in the U.S.A and to Frederick STRUCKMAN who came from Hanover, Germany in 1855 settling in Ripley County, Indiana. Married Dorothea Henrietta Marie HAASE. Both lived and died in Ripley County. Parents of 14 children all born in Ripley County. Some of the children stayed in Ripley County, and some went elsewhere.
