Darwean Post No. 329, was organized at Morris, Grundy County, Illinois August 20th 1883. Several Civil War veterans from the south part of Kendall County were members of this post. Other Kendall County veterans joined posts in DeKalb, Kane, LaSalle, and Will Counties.
