The Pinellas Genealogy Society is always glad to conduct research as requested by members and non-members. However, to cover costs, the Research Committee has found it necessary to charge for this service.
The Society’s Basic Fee is $10.00 per name searched. Please include your e-mail address and mailing address on all correspondence. This fee will cover copying and mailing charges and any travel expenses.
Regarding Obituaries: If an obituary is not available at Largo Library, a
trip to the St. Petersburg Library or Clearwater Library to retrieve obituary might be necessary.
This Fee covers searching the indexes of Pinellas County cemeteries, St.
Petersburg Times Obituaries (1972-present), Florida Death Index (1877-1991),
Florida Vital Records Marriage Index (1927-1991), History of Pinellas County,
Florida Federal Census Indexes (Census years available - not all) and manuscript
files (file of surname being searched if there is one).
Anyone requesting a research should submit
a request in writing and include the fee to the:
