Welcome to the exciting world of Broward County Florida Genealogy. We are here to help you with your research and give you pointers to develop a successful family tree. Many of us are from different parts of the country, but our questions and problems can be answered anywhere.
We have many exciting resources in our genealogy collection which is housed in the Alvin Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern University. (Located at 3100 Ray Ferrero Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., 33314)
We meet monthly, generally on the second floor - Lab A of the Library unless indicated otherwise. The Internet Discussion group meets at 12:00 noon, followed by our meeting & program at 2:00p. Our group is congenial & our programs feature speakers of interesting backgrounds. Please consult the Calendar for details on upcoming meetings.
We need volunteers! Not only is it fun to volunteer, but you provide a valuable public service.
