Special Addition: A special link has been added that covers over a thousand Veterans from Br #40 Royal Canadian Legion, St. George NB. This list was prepared by Gary Mullin, who enlisted in the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps, Soldier Apprentice Program (commonly referred to as the boy soldiers program as we were all sixteen (16) years old on enlistment) in 1956. Posted to The Longue Pointe Garrison in Montreal PQ where he received military and academic training for a two (2) year period. Upon graduation, he was posted to Fort Osborne Barracks in Winnipeg and from there to several other Canadian as well as tours of duty in Europe and the Middle East. Discharged after twenty-three (23) years of service in 1979.
This data was gathered over several years, and has been donated to this site by Mr Mullins. You will find a number of Nova Scotia veterans among this list, but all at one time or another were in the Charlotte County area. (Click here to visit this informative collection of data.)
