You are invited to become a member of the Fresno County Genealogical Society. Membership is open to genealogy and family history researchers of all levels, from beginning researchers to genealogists with advanced knowledge and skills. Our fiscal year begins January 1, therefore dues are payable at the January meeting for the year to follow. Our Library: The CA History & Genealogy Room is stocked with more than 20,000 Books & Periodicals; Yearbooks; Obituary file; Microfilm/fiche; Computer access to Ancestry Library Edition, the Newspaper Archive, & other Databases; and trained Volunteers to assist. In print: a monthly Newsletter, “The Jotted Line”; a tri-annual Periodical, the “Ash Tree Echo”; & a 10% Member discount on other Society Publications. New technology: Member discount via FCGS/Family Tree DNA partnership. Free queries: for Members in the “Ash Tree Echo.” Camaraderie: friendship and help with your search into the past – as FCGS members we share a common interest in finding our roots. Enjoy socializing at the monthly meetings and the annual Christmas party. Great Programs: Educational talks by speakers with expertise in the many areas of Genealogical Research.
