Obituary of Flora "Dolly" Mary Reynolds
The Stony Plain Reporter

April 12, 1916 - December 29, 2001

On December 29, 2001, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, our beloved mother,
grandmother and friend, Flora Mary Reynolds, was called to Heaven to be with the angels.
She was 85. "Dolly" leaves a large family to cherish her memory. She is survived by her
son, Clayton; daughters, Angeline (Arthur) Wagner, Darlene (Byron) Fussell, and Marilyn
Reynolds (Dick Desjardins); and daughter in law, Lyn Reynolds. She will also be lovingly
remembered by her eight grandchildren, Shawna, Robin, Dana, Annette, Tammy, Chrystal, Shaun
and Tiffany; four great grandsons, Taylor, Chase, Brenden, and Connor, three sisters, Alice
Smallwood, Lucille Schultz, and Agnes Koehler, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her husband, Leo, her son Russell, her sisters Ester Warneke and Ethel Senuck
and her brothers, Oscar and Danny Sundby. Born in Effie, Minnesota, Flora grew up near
Athabasca, but spent most of her life in the Stony Plain area. She will be remembered as a
gentle soul who brought love and joy to everyone who knew her. Dolly was a loving wife,
mother and grandmother. We are forever grateful that God blessed our family with such a
precious gift. She was our angel on earth. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 4, 2002,
at 7:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 131 Church Rd., Spruce Grove. Mass of Christian
burial will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church,
131 Church Rd., Spruce Grove with Father Gordon Roebuck officiating. Interment will follow
at Pioneer Cemetery in Spruce Grove. All arrangements in care of Andrews-McLaughlin.
