PARANICH, Edward Leo It is with the greatest sorrow that the family sadly

announces the passing of Edward Paranich of Athabasca on Monday, January 20,

2003 at the age of 77 years. Ed will be missed and lovingly remembered by

his wife Vickie of 52 years; two children, Linda (Gene) Panchyshyn of

Creston, BC, Darrell (Mona) of Edmonton; two cherished grandchildren, Ryan

and Karly Paranich; step-grandchildren, Jessie, Athena, Elisha and Sarah

Michalchuk of Calgary; sisters, Helen Panchyshyn, Winnie Hook; brothers, Joe

(Elsie) and Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ed was

predeceased by his parents John and Victoria; sisters Louise Henderson and

Joan Tropak; brothers Peter and Cecil. A celebration of Ed's life will be

held Friday, January 24, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel,

16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial

Gardens. Private family viewing only from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the

service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer
